The effect of servant leadership in promoting organizational citizenship behavior in Golrang Industrial Group

Abstract
This study entitles “The effect of servant leadership in promoting organizational citizenship behavior in Golrang Industrial Group.” This research is applied one from the perspective of purpose and a descriptive-correlational one based on the data collection. The statistical population of the current study includes all staff of Golrang Industrial Group totally 958 persons. The number of sample is 227 staff calculated via Cochran formula. Sampling method is simple random and two standard questionnaires were applied for data collection, one for servant leadership style and another for organizational citizenship behavior. Independent variable in the current study is servant leadership style and its factors, dependent factor is organizational citizenship behavior. Spearman, Freedman and binominal nonparametric testes were applied in this study.It can be concluded from the survey that there is a positive significant correlation between servant leadership styles with aspects of organizational citizenship behavior. The results indicate that servant leadership style has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior
