Abstract
In the era of digital transformation and increasing global competition, organizations are forced to rethink traditional supply chain management practices to maintain a competitive advantage and achieve sustainable production. The emergence of digital technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics has paved the way for the formation of a new concept called strategic digital supply chain management. This approach, by combining technology and strategy, allows organizations to design and manage their supply chains in an intelligent, integrated, transparent, and responsive manner. The aim of this research is to examine the conceptual, practical, and strategic dimensions of strategic digital supply chain management and analyze its impact on organizational performance and sustainable production. By systematically reviewing the literature and analyzing previous studies, the effects of implementing this approach in areas such as increasing operational efficiency, reducing costs, improving customer satisfaction, improving decision-making, and reducing environmental impacts have been examined. The findings show that supply chain digitalization not only improves organizational performance at the operational and strategic levels, but also plays a significant role in achieving sustainability goals, enhancing chain resilience, and inter-organizational synergies. Also, although there are barriers in developing countries such asweak infrastructure, technical knowledge, and investment, the potential opportunities for digital transformation of supply chains are very significant. Overall, strategic digital supply chain management, as a comprehensive and forward-looking approach, empowers organizations against rapid environmental changes and paves the way for sustainable development, long-term competitiveness, and innovation in the structure of supply chains.
