Abstract
The present study aims to analyze the use of emerging technologies to improve accessibility indicators in tourism spaces for individuals with mobility disabilities. This research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach and employs a systematic review method. Data analysis indicates that physical barriers such as the absence of standard ramps, narrow pathways, and a lack of adequate welfare facilities are among the main factors contributing to social exclusion. However, merely complying with architectural standards is not sufficient; the integration of emerging technologies can elevate the tourism experience to a new level of independence and safety. The findings suggest that the success of inclusive tourism development depends on a shift from traditional barrier-removal approaches to modern smart and personalized design approaches. In this sense, tourism villages should evolve into ecosystems where the digital layer complements the physical layer, and through data-driven approaches, diverse user needs are addressed. Achieving this goal requires macro-level policymaking, investment in smart infrastructure, and active participation of the disabled community in the design process.
