The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of information and communication technology on improving the performance and efficiency of Meli Bank in Tehran. Modern trade requires appropriate tools and infrastructures for the development of economic processes, so the link between information and communication technology and banking is one of the most tangible and obvious points that come to mind according to the subject of the research, this research has been applied in terms of purpose and in terms of how to collect information is correlation and survey type. The data collection tool in this study was a questionnaire derived from the service quality measurement scale based on the SERVQUAL model, which was carried out using researches and received the opinions of banking professors and experts. The questionnaire consists of 3 parts: the first part of the questionnaire includes a brief explanation of the questionnaire and then demographic questions such as gender, age, education level, occupation and familiarity with ICT components have been removed and then 5 questions with Likert spectrum related to the utilization of information and communication technology in bank branches have been designed and then 30 questions with Likert spectrum related to measuring the effect of using the effect of using. Information technology on the quality of banking services is presented based on the SERVQUAL model. The results obtained from inferential statistics are as follows: Among the dimensions of SERVQUAL, empathy has the highest rank. In comparing ICT components of computer and ATM components in accountability dimension, sales terminal in the dimension of responsiveness, empathy and reliability are significant.
