Abstract
The purpose of this study is to introduce a comprehensive model of succession planning for organizations. Method ﭘﮋ وﻫﺶ از ﻧﻮع ﺗﻮﺻﯿﻔﯽ- is a review that has been collected through Persian and English theoretical foundations. Since in recent years the concept of human resources has given way to human capital, the recruitment of talented and competent manpower and succession in organizations has become doubly important and organizations are trying to take appropriate approaches to this process in a more favorable way for organizational success. The combination of the results of various researches in this field shows that succession planning is one of the important and basic requirements for having an efficient and successful organization. Succession is a strategic planning tool that can depict the problems that arise in an organization due to people leaving as well as the knowledge gap created by a series of people leaving the organization.
